Lighthouse mode drops you at one of 9,400+ lighthouses worldwide. The lighthouses themselves are tiny at satellite resolution, so the round is really about reading the coastline they sit on — Atlantic rocky vs. Mediterranean limestone, Norwegian fjord vs. Brazilian sandy, English Channel chalk vs. Caribbean reef.

This is one of the most geographically educational pools in the game. Every continent has a distinctive coastline signature, and lighthouse mode forces you to learn them all. Some of the most rewarding moments come from placing a remote lighthouse correctly within a few hundred kilometres on the first guess.
