How streak mode plays
Streak mode plays rounds back-to-back until you miss. You pick the distance threshold — 1,000 km, 1,500 km, or 2,000 km — and every guess inside that radius extends your streak by one. The first round outside the threshold ends the run.
It is the most tense way to play EarthGuessr. There is no recovering from a single bad guess, which means the calculus changes: every round becomes a choice between a safe guess and the perfect guess. Casual players favour the 2,000 km threshold; competitive players push toward the 1,000 km streak runs.
