How waterfalls plays

Waterfall mode drops you at one of 13,000+ named waterfalls. This is one of the harder pools in the game — waterfalls themselves are tiny features at satellite resolution, so most of the round is about reading the surrounding river, gorge, plateau edge, or escarpment that produced the falls.

The pool comes from Wikidata's waterfall entries, biased toward named falls with verified locations. That gives you the famous ones (Niagara, Iguazu, Victoria, Angel) but also thousands of regional cataracts on every continent. Half the skill in waterfall mode is recognising the geological context — a Scandinavian glacial valley produces different falls than a Brazilian shield escarpment.
